One more week of school! My oldest is so ready to be done with projects & finals….we can feel the excitement of the kids when they come in to the stores…almost there! Speaking of the end of the school year- we have plenty of great teacher gifts left & some new great end of year gifts for both boys & girls. FUNKY BANDZ LAUNCH PARTY & TRADING DAY
It’s finally almost here! Tomorrow, Saturday, May 22nd from 11 am to 3 pm at our Hickory Flat store- Four brand new BANDZ designs will be released at our stores before any other stores anywhere! The designs are Military, Texting,Camp & Superstars! The designer from Funky Bandz will be with us for the event & for every pack of the new designs you purchase, you will also receive a ticket for a drawing to design a pack of Bandz with her that will be sold all across the country & will have the winner’s name included on the packaging! She will also be teaching children how to make their own Bandz trading binders at 12 & 2 pm. If you purchase 10 packages of any bandz during the event tomorrow, you will receive 1 free package! We will have face painting for the younger children. Representatives from the American Legion will be with us between 2:00 – 3:00 for a special donation from the sale of the Military Bandz. Please thank them for their service and the work they do to help our active duty troops & their families!

Designer Trunk Show
We will be having a designer trunk show of all new items at both stores next weekend May 14th & 15th. Bridgemill will be on Friday, the 14th from 11 am to 3 pm & Hickory Flat will be on Saturday the 15th from 11 am to 3 pm. If you like are Mia Ragazza pillowcase dresses, you will love these items! The same designer will have a large selection of Knot Dresses, Twirl Skirts, purses and much more. All bows will be 10% off during the show as well. Funky Bandz Launch Party
We are very excited to be hosting the first ever Bandz Launch Party & Trading Event on Saturday, May 22nd from 11 am to 3 pm ONLY AT OUR HICKORY FLAT STORE! The Funky Bandz designer will be here for the event. They will be launching brand new bandz designs at the event & those new designs will be available at our stores before they will be available anywhere else in the U.S. She will be showing kids how to make their own Bandz trading albums at 12:00 & 2:00! For every package of the new designs that you purchase, you will be given a ticket for your child to enter a drawing to design the next package with Funky Bandz! That child’s name will be included on the packaging of that design and sold all across the U.S. That child will also receive a number of free packages of that design to share with their family & friends when it becomes available! We will also have snacks & face painting. Please make plans to join us for this very special event. We anticipate selling out of the new designs early!

We are carrying a new item called Hide-ees (see photos on right). They are adorable shorts that come in various colors for girls size 2 to 10 to wear under their skirts & dresses. They are similar to the Monkey Bar Buddies that we carried last year (we still have some of those left) but they are cuter and are slightly lower priced.

We’ve also received a brand new selection of the gift wine glasses & martini glasses. They just keep getting cuter & cuter! We have added to our birthday crowns as well & restocked the button headbands! Brand new in their infant clothing line is the Daddy’s Caddy (Golf) Bubble for boys & the Country Club (tennis) Tunic & Leggings set for girls. They are absolutely adorable (see photos on right).
